JOB TITLE:
Accounting Associate/Office Admin

RESPONSIBLE TO:
Accounting Manager and VP of Operations 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Accounts Payable (A/P)
  • Accounts Receivable (A/R)
  • Purchasing support
  • Maintenance of 1099
  • General office duties: filing, database management, and order entry
  • Office Admin duties: filing, faxing, scanning, typing, and editing papers
  • Customer Support back-up (answering phones)
  • Human Resources department back-up
  • Co-coordinating meeting schedules

* Additional duties may be added as the need arises

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Accounting Associate:

  • Process, record, and pay invoices, bills, and other transactions
  • Record fiscal transactions, balancing and reconciling accounts
  • Communication with customers regarding payment and pricing
  • Customer service for new orders
  • Payment of company bills/invoices
  • Assist accountants with bookkeeping, clerical duties, managing accounts, and special projects

Office Admin:

  • Scanning Production paperwork or obsoleted paperwork as needed
  • Circulate sign-off sheets for Engineering or Document Change Orders (ECOs/DCOs)
  • Meeting Minutes Record Keeping
  • Working as back-up to Human Resources in various projects as needed
  • Working as back-up to Admin Assistant as needed
  • Working as a back-up to Customer Services, by handling customer requests and complaints
  • Maintenance of LZI website and company intranet as needed
  • Meeting Minutes Record Keeping

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience with Quickbooks.
  • Applicants should be well-versed in the use of the Internet/e-mail, Adobe Acrobat, Word, and Excel programs.
  • Candidates should have high attention to detail.
  • Candidates should be organized.
  • Candidates should have excellent skills in analysis, writing and communication.

 


 

JOB TITLE:
Contract Specialist/Technical Support Associate

RESPONSIBLE TO:
VP of Operations 

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Maintenance and submission for bids/ contracts
  • Customer technical support

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Contract Specialist:

  • Preparing and submitting government and customer bid / contract requests
  • Routinely reviewing available government and customer bids / contracts
  • Applying for business certifications applicable to bids
  • Coordinating with Regulatory department to maintain government certifications (System for Award Management, SAM)
  • Coordinating product samples with the Production Team for bids
  • Generating bid protocols/procedures

Technical Support Associate:

  • Customer Complaint Handling (intake of customer complaint, testing and investigation of product issues)
  • Assay and Parameter Troubleshooting
  • Distribution of product information/ information requests (product catalog, product insert, parameter sheet, cross-reactivity information) to customers
  • Assist in the update of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) that involve changes to product inserts and parameter sheets
  • Cross-reactivity testing and record maintenance
  • New employee technology Presentation

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and well organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Applicants should be well-versed in the use of the internet/e-mail, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
  • Must have Hepatitis B vaccination

 


 

JOB TITLE:
Production Associate

RESPONSIBLE TO:
VP of Operations and Production Manager

GENERAL DUTIES:
The Production Associate will manufacture diagnostic reagents drug of abuse reagent kits by optimizing and formulating Enzyme Immunoassays (EIA) on clinical analyzers. 
* Additional duties may be added as the need arises.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Optimization and formulation of enzyme immunoassay reagents and enzyme-hapten conjugations.
  • Formulation of calibrator and control solutions.
  • Buffer and solution preparation.
  • Assembling finished goods products- printing, labeling, filling, capping and packaging.
  • General lab and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary work place, including washing glassware and bulk containers.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedure guidelines and maintain good documentation practices.
  • Properly record data and maintain a well-documented laboratory notebook.
  • Meet production deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.A., B.S., or M.S. in biology related field or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Able to think critically and analyze basic data.
  • Excellent detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to life/move up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiar with a laboratory setting and basic handling of lab related materials preferred.
  • Understand basic calculations of concentrations and dilutions.
  • Applicants should be well-versed in the use of the internet/email, Microsoft Word and Excel.

 


 

JOB TITLE:
Laboratory Technician/Production Intern

RESPONSIBLE TO:
Production Manager

GENERAL DUTIES:
The Laboratory Technician/Production Intern supports the Production Department, which includes Quality Control, Bottling and Labeling, by maintaining lab-ware, documentation, inventory, and helping with special projects.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Maintain lab-ware, bulk containers, laboratory equipment, instrument consumables by cleaning and washing. 
  • Keeps laboratory supplies ready and stocked.
  • Maintains and files production records. 
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work area in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently attending high school or HS Graduate.
  • Must have Hepatitis B vaccination.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good work ethic/on time/reliable.
  • Good organizational skills/neat.
  • Follows directions/instructions well.
  • Focused.
