Development Associate Level I

VP of R&D and Project Manager

Conduct novel enzyme immunoassay (EIA) research and development projects for the detection of drugs of abuse in urinalysis and oral fluid testing. These projects will be used to obtain FDA 510(k) clearance and non-510(k) validations.


  • Prepare drug conjugates and optimize antibodies for immunoassay development
  • Conduct immunoassay optimizations and show proficiency on a variety of clinical analyzers
  • Analyze and interpret data, accurately and consistently record methods and results
  • Prepare and present technical data summaries for design review and regulatory submission
  • Be able to present project results at team meetings
  • Complete projects in an organized and timely manner
  • Assist in the transfer of completed development projects to Production
  • Perform other responsibilities to support the needs of the department as assigned


  • B.S. or M.S. in biology or chemistry related field or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of R&D laboratory experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with Immunoassay research a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Shipping Lead

Production Manager


  • Shipping Lead is responsible for the preparation of outgoing shipments, the receipt of incoming shipments, and all related shipping duties
  • In addition to working alongside the Shipping and Inventory team, the lead is responsible for the supervision, guidance and motivation of the Shipping and Inventory team
  • Supporting management in overseeing the team and delegating tasks

  • Primary customer contact for shipping related issues
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Accounting, Inventory, Quality Control and Regulatory on any shipping issues
  • Work with Hold List updates from Accounting
  • Handle priority, complex, custom, and/or international orders. Point person for special shipments
  • Responsible for or designation of order pick-up/drop off
  • Hold Shipping meetings and responsible for the minutes write-up
  • Maintain Shipping room and supplies
  • Procedure development and protocol writing
  • Shipping and receiving audits
  • Distributes workload; manages day‐to‐day work flow within a group or unit; reports to the Manager or supervisor regarding completion of work flow. May coordinate implementation and oversee the work of a group assigned to a specific project including identification of assignments and responsibility, establishing work deadlines for project team members and coordinating completion of activities
  • Helps fellow employees solve daily technical problems
  • Provides feedback to direct manager or upper management on work related issues
  • Provides feedback to the manager on co‐worker’s performance. May be involved in the performance evaluation process
  • Resolve individual conflicts and problems with a specific project or task
  • Oversees team in the absence of manager and may be assigned time-keeping authority
  • Provides advice and assistance on work techniques, best practices, and subject‐matter expertise to coworkers
  • Provides training to new hires.

  • High School Degree with 3+ years of Shipping experience or equivalent
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and work well on a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail
  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to drop off at FedEx/UPS locations for emergency /missed pick-ups
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Production Associate

VP of Operations and Production Manager

The Production Associate will manufacture diagnostic reagents drug of abuse reagent kits by optimizing and formulating Enzyme Immunoassays (EIA) on clinical analyzers.


  • Optimization and formulation of enzyme immunoassay reagents and enzyme-hapten conjugations
  • Formulation of calibrator and control solutions
  • Buffer and solution preparation
  • Assembling finished good products- printing, labeling, filling, capping and packaging
  • General lab and equipment preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary work place, including washing glassware and bulk containers.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedure guidelines and maintain good documentation practices.
  • Properly record data and maintain a well-documented laboratory notebook
  • Meet production deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

  • B.A., B.S., or M.S. in biology related field or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Able to think critically and analyze basic data
  • Excellent detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds
  • Familiar with a laboratory setting and basic handling of lab related materials preferred
  • Understand basic calculations of concentrations and dilutions
